Hello backers!
Welcome to the first update after our Kickstarter! A few days ago we emailed you all a survey to fill out that will give us the information we need to get you your rewards! It's a very simple survey that just asks a few questions, so do be sure to fill it out as soon as you can.
When most of you have filled it out I'm going to be assigning the associated discord roles to your tiers very soon. My plan for the updated demo access people to let them vote on some of the new content I'll prioritize making along with my regular work. If you haven't joined the discord already make sure to do so here so I can get you your roles!
I didn't want to leave you all with no content, so here's a who's that grimmlin that I'll reveal on Saturday. Whoooooo's thaaaaat grimmlin?!?!? Give me your guesses in the comments or in our discord!

Kickstarter Commplete! 150% funded!!!

Wow!!! It's over! I'm alive!?!?
In the end the game was 150% funded and we made $45,284!!! That means in the last couple hours we boosted to the end of our 20 extra grimmlins stretch goal!!!
I want to say thank you so much to everyone for your support. Thank you to my fans/community for being awesome, giving so much, and talking to me about the game all the time. Thank you to everyone on social media and Youtube/Twitch who helped boost the game's visibility. And thank you to all of my friends and family who gave so much to me and the game out of love. You all Kickstarted the beginnings of my dream game coming true!!!
Now we continue the long journey to grow on Steam! Lots can happen in the future and I'm going to be open to opportunities to grow the game into even bigger and better things beyond this. Wishlist the game on Steam here if you haven't already, because that's the next big thing as we push towards release. I'll still be updating the game periodically here and of course on Twitter and Discord. Follow along and join the community if you haven't already!

Now onto grimmlins for the day. I'm going to reveal 2 grimmlins to celebrate! Kickstarter has been behind my twitter reveals every day anyways and this will catch everything up!
First, say hello to Hurricoma!
Hurricoma is the evolution to Stratusleep and Nimbeauty and is mental and wind type. Just like her pre evolutions, her dreams manifest themselves psychically into clouds based on the dreams themselves. She dreams of a nice safe tree to climb onto, spindles and more! But those darker clouds are also nightmares of a certain sinister grimmlin for Hurricoma.
And our second grimmlin pairs perfectly because it's the subject of Hurricoma's nightmare!
Say hello to Dracoma!
Dracoma is Malefruit's evolution and is our Maleficent + Snow White poison apple/hag grimmlin!!! The bane of Hurricoma's existence. Dracoma has become entirely accustomed to the sleep fog from the poison sleep inducing apples of their diet. They travel around putting grimmlins to sleep and giving them nightmares about themselves to assert dominance. Thanks to this rotten nightmare malice, they have become evil type along with blight type.

Day 30! Trapestry + FINAL DAY!!!

It's the last day. We're finally here! The final day!!! It's been such a journey so far but we still have $2,845 to raise for that $45,000 for 20 extra grimmlins stretch goal! The budget is tight so I can only promise 60 grimmlins without the help I'd be able to pay for from others, but with the extra money I could hire a lot of art help that would free me up nd give us up to 80 grimmlins! As it stands, some of the grimmlins will need to be unfortunately cut at least form initial release, but 80 will give us more to work with! Especially since there are more than 70 revealed already. So let's push everybody! Whatever you can to spread the word or contribute to the game means the world!
Moving on to grimmlin reveals, iiiit's Trapestry!
Using themes of taxidermy, trophy hunting, and bear traps/bear hunting techniques, Trapestry's design toys with separate themes combined with those from Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The bear victims are now one zombie rug spirit assimilated together and seeking vengeance for those who broke into their home. Trapestry is Evil and Death type and it's the evolution of Ursnare.
How do you feel about this grimmlin? Do you like it or is it TOO morbid as it is? I'm looking for feedback and considering making the mama more silly evil looking like the papa. Let me know what you think!

Day 29! Fozilla and Fumrilla! Less Than 48 Hours Left!

Hi everyone! We're at one of our last Kickstarter updates now! But it's not over yet! Currently we're sitting above $39,000 and the Kickstarter email to back before the campaign ends in 48 hours has gone out! More than 80% of the project's followers haven't backed yet, so that email will be sending out to a lot of people who haven't brought themselves to back yet.
I'll be posting a lot so that we can push for the $45,000 stretch goal! Currently my minimum number of grimmlins for the game is 60 grimmlins with all of their depth considered. We have more than 70 grimmlins revealed already at this moment, so some will need to be cut if I can't get enough funding to support them. Having the bandwidth for another 20 would confirm that most if not all of the revealed grimmlins will be in the release of the game. So push to the end everyone! Let your friends know about this cool monster tamer and how there's less than 2 days left! Do it for the grimmlins! And thank you all for your love and support so far.
Moving onto grimmlin reveals, we have two for today!
Iiiiiit's Fozilla and Fumrilla!!!
Our split evolution of Feephyto, Fozilla and Fumrilla are our Jack and the Beanstalk giants for Grimmlins Tale! They're known to fight each other in the beanstalk forest in brawls that can be heard from miles away as they tear down beanstalks like Godzilla and King Kong to a modern metropolis. Fozilla and Fumrilla are a split evolution for Feephyto, and Fozilla is life and fire type, while Fumrilla is life and might type. Which would you choose on your journey?
Who's that grimmlin? Weird silhouette huh? Can you guess what their fairy tale will be?

Day 28! Terapail Waddles In! Less Than 3 Days Left! Step Form Contest Winner Announced

Hello everyone!
It's day 28! There are less than 3 days left in the campaign! Tomorrow morning everyone will be getting an email from Kickstarter, notifying my followers that there's only 48 hours left of the campaign. That kick in the bum email should help since a lot of our followers of the project haven't backed, but people back towards the end before they miss their chance. It's time for a wild 3 days. Keep supporting in any way you can, everyone!
Today is our final day for the step form color contest!
I am only picking one of the submissions for the contest for now, but I'm thinking about using at least one other one from the contest in the future potentially! There were just so many good ideas that I might even have to make multiple step forms for some grimmlins using these ideas. So if your submission wasn't chosen, there's still a chance that I might still use it, and I could reach out one day! Also I might hold another one of these in the future one day, it was fun to have the community all pouring out lots of ideas and collaborating.
Say hello to our winner, GoblinBox and their wizard themed Sevegnome step form! It is a potion crazy wizard, replacing the normally soot splotches with splashes of potions! It's a simple but creative idea that will be easily executed as a step form, and the way it works for the constraints was also a big reason for why it won! Plus it's a very visually readable concept, one of the most important aspects of a conceptual step form like this. I'm thinking it might likely be Arcane and Earth type, but there are other possibilities. It could also end up being just Arcane type. Congratulations to GolbinBox!
Moving on to new grimmlins, we have Terapail! Terapail is our Jack and Jill inspired grimmlin. It's pretty straight forward. It's a cute little stubby turtle with a pail for a shell. Much more fairy tale inspiration is present in its evolution, but look at the little guy.
